Ride Joburg bike courier
Bike courier to 94.7 Ride Joburg
Coming up to Gauteng for Ride Joburg? Courier your road bike to Johannesburg instead of driving it up or checking it in on a flight. GearGo collects from anywhere in South Africa and brings it home again.
Getting your bike to Joburg
Riders from Cape Town, Durban, the Eastern Cape and the Garden Route often fly up for the weekend. Courier the bike ahead to where you are staying in Midrand, Sandton, Fourways or Centurion, or to family, and fly in with hand luggage only. For 2026 the organisers have announced the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand as the venue, so accommodation in the northern suburbs is handy.
The 2026 event is close. Book collection by Monday 9 November 2026. If that date has passed, choose the earliest collection date available and WhatsApp us on 068 608 1231 to check timing before you book.
Getting it home
Book the return leg in the same booking and choose a collection date from Monday 23 November. Repack the bike in its box and leave it with your host or accommodation for the courier. You can send it back to a different address, such as your office.
Live in Gauteng?
GearGo works just as well the other way. Send your bike to the coast for a December holiday, or to Cape Town for the Cycle Tour in March. See our Johannesburg and Pretoria pages.

Questions riders ask
Can you deliver to the venue on race morning?
No. We deliver to street addresses on business days. Have the bike delivered to your accommodation or a friend a few days before.
Is Johannesburg a remote area?
No. Johannesburg, Midrand, Sandton and Pretoria are standard service areas. If any address does attract a remote-area surcharge, it is shown before you pay.
Can the bike go back to a different address?
Yes. On a return booking you enter the return collection and return delivery addresses separately.
